1.Dipolog City: Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral

DIPOLOG CITY, Zamboanga del Norte - The Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral, or Dipolog Cathedra.The church building was constructed in 1894 and has undergone several renovations, the latest of which was in 2009 when the facade of the cathedral was covered with marble. The present altar is a replica of the retablo originally designed by Dr. Jose Rizal. The main attaction of the cathedral is the ceiling made of hardwood

3.Sta. Cruz Marker

Etched on the extended base was En 3 de Mayo 1905 that marks the day a group of Boholanos first landed in this city, and called it their home

4.Linabo Peak

Located in Sitio Dinginan, Barangay Lugdungan, Linabo Peak is a 3,000-step trail that leads to an astonishing view of Dipolog and Dapitan against a backdrop of sun and sky. If you’re a beginner to hiking, there’s nothing to worry about: Linabo Peak has a stairway that’s easy to follow so you can still enjoy the view from the top. Previous visitors recommend that you go in the morning to enjoy the sunrise and cool breeze, and to bring insect repellent as well.

Sungkilaw Falls is a must-visit for you. Positioned in the middle of a lush, green forest, Sungkilaw Falls requires its visitors to trek through rough terrain before reaching it - but even though it may be a long walk, the reward is very much worth it. 10.Visit Casa Bernedo (Bernedo Ancestral House)


It was built at the turn of the 20th century by Justo Bernedo and wife Isabel Macias Bernedo.
The casa was where they raised their nine children, and has served several VIPs and dignitaries. It's now the Center for Arts and Culture of Dipolog City. Except for minor renovations, it has retained its original structure. It's an interesting stop-over as various artifacts of the period are on display.
